The Association
for European Training and Information (AETI) is an independent
voluntary non-profit organization established to promote
European Union values and principles in the society.
AETI's main goal is to contribute to democratization of
the society and rapprochement of the Republic of Moldova
to the European Union through professional information,
training and consulting. In the current context of he European
Neighborhood Policy, AETI aims at contributing towards implementation
of the EU-Moldova Action Plan, building awareness of the
importance of EU-related processes in Moldova and mobilizing
efforts of the society for aligning to European values,
norms and standards.
To achieve it goals, AETI undertakes the following activities:
develops and implements training programs, public opinion
polls and consulting in EU-related issues;
collects, systematizes and disseminates information on the
European Union and its relations with Moldova;
organizes symposiums, conferences, seminars, debates to
cover current issues in EU-Moldova relations and perspectives;
organizes specific activities (exhibitions, missions, cultural
and artistic manifestations) to create a favorable image
of Moldova abroad and to participate in similar activities
of other organizations;
establishes and builds strategic alliances by means of implementing
joint programs and initiatives, etc.
AETI's activities are targeted at central and local public
authorities, academic institutions, research centers, civil
society, youth organizations, and a broader audience interested
in EU issues.
