The answer is relatively simple and sends a devastating sheer of trauma to all human rights defenders.
One of the judges responsible for the justice section in the capital, Chisinau, recently allowed warrants and gave them out to prosecutors so that they could do what is called ‘’their job’’, ‘’their duty’’. In a perfect world, such as a respectable democratic country, this would sound absolutely normal, yet in the Republic of Moldova, reality is far from defining perfection and that is most often proved by the state police, which is the primary ‘’trouble-maker’’. People are just not left ‘’to be’’.
Coming back to the youngsters, the prosecutors made instant use of their warrant so as the go on a ‘’youth-hunt’’ for several young men and women that permitted themselves to express their opinion. This happened right after the President of the Republic of Moldova gave a speech in front of all the journalists that are active on Moldovan territory, all in stating that the press should be freer, hence the people itself.
Unfortunately, this was not the story for the youngsters that were hunted by Chisinaus’ corrupted police and justice system. The boys and girls in question, about 11-12 of them were all invited today to come down to the prosecuting section so as to be audited. The motive for their auditing was that these youngsters had expressed radical opinions related ‘’overthrowing constitutional order’’, ‘’launching multiple appeals regarding the overthrowing of the constitutional order and the liquidation of the current territorial independence and state integrity of the Republic of Moldova’’ and ‘’making plans so as to reunite the child ‘’Republic of Moldova’’ with Romania, the EU member, and mother nation in history.
The Romanian spirit is still very bright in the Republic of Moldova. The youngsters in question risk up to 7 years in jail if they are found guilty. This is not the first time where the Moldovan police altercates youngsters. Similar cases have been observed at times in the past whenever the Moldovan people, which according to Romania’s president, Traian Basescu, is a ‘’sea of Romanians’’, would come out to celebrate the Romanian festivities with Romania. At such festivities, which mostly take part in Chisinau, secret unidentified police come out to attack protesters such as Vlad Parau, a Romanian citizen whom got expelled out of the Republic of Moldova by a couple of men dressed in black when he came to celebrate the 90 years of the reunion of RM with Romania (1918).

Reference :

Participanti la mitingul anticomunist din 22.02.2008 au fost chemati in judecata

Just recently within the Republic of Moldova, ex-Romanian territory annexed illegally by the Soviet Union and Germans during World War II, tensions are once more on the rise.
