In urma mai multor adresari, sesizari si petitii adresate institutiilor europene, acestea au luat atitudine, dupa cum era si firesc. Aceste reactii au survenit in urma actiunilor mai multor reprezentanti oficiali, ai societatii civile, a institutiilor abilitate pentru apararea drepturilor omului, dar si a unor persoane care au avut de suferit in urma represiunilor regimului dictatorial, deci anti-democratic, de la Chisinau.<\/p>\n

Maria Petre: Evenimentele din ultimele zile ne demonstreaza incalcarea flagranta a drepturilor omului in Republica Moldova. Cer institutiilor europene, masuri urgente pentru stoparea acestora<\/strong><\/p>\n Europarlamentarul roman, Maria Petre, cere in regim de urgenta Parlamentului European o reuniune extraordinara a delegatiei Comisiei parlamentare de cooperare UE – Moldova, in cadrul careia responsabilii guvernamentali din Republica Moldova sa fie chemati sa dea explicatiile necesare asupra abuzurilor din ultimele zile.<\/p>\n De asemenea, Maria Petre are in vedere initierea, de catre membrii delegatiei, a unei noi rezolutii pe tema incalcarii drepturilor omului in Republica Moldova, care sa fie dezbatuta si adoptata in regim de urgenta in sesiunea Parlamentului European din iulie 2008.<\/p>\n Demersul, europarlamentarului roman survine ca reactie la doua evenimente de data recenta: actiunile puterii actuale din Republica Moldova indreptate impotriva tinerilor care isi exprima liber opiniile pe forumurile accesibile pe internet si pe portalurile de stiri din aceasta tara precum si atitudinea abuziva a guvernului de la Chisinau in legatura cu actiunea organizata zilele trecute de o organizatie non-guvernamentala menita sa apere drepturile pensionarilor si intitulata, simbolic, „Salvgardare”.<\/p>\n „In primul ca si in al doilea caz, avem de-a face cu incalcari grave ale drepturilor fundamentale ale omului, a libertatii de exprimare si de actiune, simbolice daca ne raportam la cei impotriva carora sunt indreptate: cei mai tineri si cei mai in varsta.” si-a argumentat demersul Maria Petre.<\/p>\n „In primul caz, este aproape incredibil ca un guvern si institutiile sale de forta se indreapta impotriva tinerilor liceeni, ii citeaza la parchet, plecand de la o declaratie publica socanta a domnului presedinte Vladimir Voronin, potrivit caruia „libertatea presei si libertatea de exprimare reprezinta o problema de ambitie nationala”. A doua zi dupa aceasta declaratie, Procuratura a sechestrat calculatoarele tinerilor care se presupune ca ar fi publicat comentarii critice la adresa guvernarii de la Chisinau. \n\u00a0-the actions led by the political powers of the Republic of Moldova against young students that freely express their opinion on the internet forums and on the information portals;
\n\u00a0-the abusive attitude of the government in Chisinau when dealing with the protests organized last week by a NGO aimed to protect the rights of pensioners and called, symbolically, „Salvgardare” (Safeguard).<\/p>\n
\n\u00a0-organize an extraordinary meeting of the delegation to the EU-Moldova Parliamentary Cooperation Committee, where the Moldavian government ought to give the necessary explanations; then the delegation should adopt a document that would urge the Chisinau authorities to stop their abusive actions;
\n\u00a0-initiate a new joint motion for a resolution concerning the violation of fundamental human rights in the Republic of Moldova, that should be debated and adopted during the July 2008 session of the European Parliament.<\/p>\n
